Vietnam-Malaysia Final In Thanh Nien U21 Tourney

GIA LAI (20 Oct 2012) – Vietnam will take on Malaysia in the final of the Thanh Nien Newspaper International Under-21 Football Championships tomorrow.

Vietnam beat Sydney FC 3-0 in the semi-final at the Pleiku Stadium in Gia Lai Province with goals off Nguyen Dinh Bao in the sixth minute, Ha Minh Tuan in the 53^rd minute and then Vu Minh Tuan in the 75^th minute.

In the meantime, Malaysia booked their place in the final with a close 1-0 win over Thailand – the only goal in the game coming in the 54^th minute off Syahrul Azwari Ibrahim.
