First Lao female referee was selected as referee at Asian Games 2024

Phoutsavan Chanthavong, Assistant Referee of FIFA Elite was selected as referee in the 19^th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from 19 September-7 October 2023, Chanthavong will become the first female referee from Laos to be in the Asian Games.

ARENA GUGLIERMO has completed his contract with Lao national team

Lao national team head coach ARENA GUGLIERMO has completed his contract with Lao national team and Kanlaya Sisomwang will replace him as acting head coach. ARENA GUGLIERMO  has managed Lao U23 since July this year, taking charge Lao U23 in the AFF Championship in Thailand between 17-26 August 2023 and AFC championship 2024 Qualifying round between 06-12 Sept 2023
