Vientiane, Laos, 30 October, 2012 - The Lao Football Federation (LFF) is proud to announce that Thai sports equipment company Football Thai Factory Sporting Goods Co, Ltd (FBT) has come on board as an official partner for a period of 4 years, from 2012 to 2016.
FBT has pledged to support LFF with sporting apparel and equipment worth 16,000,000 (16 Million) Baht, equipping mainly the federation’s national senior and national youth teams.
FBT exports to over 40 countries worldwide, has over 2,800 employees and had an annual turnover of more than US$40 million in 2011.
In addition to supplying quality products worldwide, FBT is also dedicated to the development of Sports in Thailand as well as in Asia. The leading Thai sports company has been a sponsor of the Asian Games, National Games in Laos and in Thailand, World Petanque Championships, International Children Games, and many other local and international events. This year, FBT also signed a sponsorship agreement to support the Football Federation of Cambodia for 2 consecutive years.
This is not the first time FBT has supported LFF. In 2008-2010, FBT supported the federation to help it with its preparations for the 2009 SEA Games in Vientiane, Laos.
The company is enthusiastic about returning once again to support LFF and its elite football activities.

With this sponsorship, we at FBT hope to be able to help improve the quality of football for the national teams, and bring pride to the Lao people,” said Mr Monchai Chokephaibulkit, Deputy Managing Director of FBT.
LFF is confident that such a partnership with an international sports brand will set it on the right path of developing a good image.

Earlier in the month, the Lao national team had a successful run at the qualifiers of the biennial Suzuki Cup, finishing 2nd in their group after host Myanmar and earning a spot in the final round which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 23 November-1 December.
