GIA LAI (20 Oct 2012) – Vietnam will take on Malaysia in the final of the Thanh Nien Newspaper International Under-21 Football Championships tomorrow.
Vietnam beat Sydney FC 3-0 in the semi-final at the Pleiku Stadium in Gia Lai Province with goals off Nguyen Dinh Bao in the sixth minute, Ha Minh Tuan in the 53rd minute and then Vu Minh Tuan in the 75th minute.
In the meantime, Malaysia booked their place in the final with a close 1-0 win over Thailand – the only goal in the game coming in the 54th minute off Syahrul Azwari Ibrahim.
