Before that, through cooperation with the Japan Football Association, the Lao Football Federation signed contracts with two coaches Kiyoshi Sekiguchi and Kimura Koikichi to recruit them as the technical director and the coach of the national football team.
The new coach of the Lao national team, Mr. Kokichi Kimura, was a former striker of the Yokohama F. Marinos FC (Japan). After that, he became a coach and then the chief coach of Yokohama F. Marinos FC in 2008.
In addition to the financing contract with the Lao Football Federation, HAGL established the Hoang Anh Attapeu football team in August 2012. The team will attend the Lao Prime Minister Cup in November and then the Lao League 2013.
HAGL Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc also plans to sponsor the Lao League 2013 as a major sponsor, and will build a football academy in the model of the HAGL - JMG - Arsenal academy in Attapeu province, where HAGL has many investment projects.
