I just started checking the aseanfootball org and found some data about the AFF championship or Tiger cup 1996 according to the data, the first AFF championship was kicked off in 1996 and Laos was divided to Group A together with Indonesia,Vietnam,Myanmar and Cambodia, in that year, Laos was defeated by Myanmar 2: 4 and 2 years later, Laos was divided together with Myanmar again in Tiger cup 1998, Laos beaten Myanmar 3:0 .
