Indonesia invites Vietnam for friendlies
VietNamNet Bridge – The Football Association of Indonesia has invited Vietnam to take part in two friendly matches against its national squad, and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has yet to accept the invitation.
VFF Vice President Pham Ngoc Vien says whether or not Vietnam accepts the invitation depends on the result of the lot draw of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2012 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 11.
If both teams are not in the same group, Vietnam will play two friendly matches against Indonesia to garner more international experience before the AFF Cup kicks off late this year, said Vien.
Vietnam won the AFF Suzuki Cup trophy in 2008 after outplaying Thailand in the final game. They also clinched bronze medals in 2007 and 2010.

I think that is a really nice gesture for Indonesia, in soccer, there should never be hatred and conflicts
