SELANGOR: Malaysia beat Singapore 2-0 (4-2 on aggregate) on Tuesday in the second leg of the Causeway Challenge at the Shah Alam Stadium in Selangor.
Malaysia's Shakir Ali headed in a cross from Norshahrul Idlan Talaha in the 19th minute.
The hosts were a constant danger in the first half while the Lions struggled to keep up.
After the break, Malaysian captain Safiq Rahim scored the second goal from a free-kick in the 62nd minute.
Both sides drew 2-2 in their first-leg encounter at Jalan Besar Stadium last week.
