AFF FUTSAL 2012: Malaysia thump Cambodia; Misagh lead Philippines past Myanmar

BANGKOK (19 April 2012) – Malaysia made a thumping start to their campaign in the AFF Futsal Championship 2012 when they thrashed Cambodia 8-0 as five-goal Misagh Bahadoran led the Philippines past Myanmar 5-4 in the second match of Group A at the Acachai Acadium.

The Malaysians, who lost the final to Indonesia two years ago, came out with all guns blazing as they scorched to a four goal lead at the half with goals from Asmie Zahari in the fourth minute, Fawzul Mohamad (8^th and 18^th minute) and Qaiser Khadir (10^th minute).
